In the year of 1948, Carl Heinz Brandes arrived in Apiúna, in the state of Santa Catarina, willing to work and form his own family. In the year of 1954 Mr. Brandes and his wife Lili Elza Bernardi Brandes bought a store. Ten years later they started Malharia BRANDILI along with three friends. In the very beginning, the company produced baptism clothes and cotton blouses. In the year of 1975, Brandili changed the whole production line and started to produce clothes for adults.

It was back in 1990, with a total change of the weaving machines, that Brandili started producing 100% cotton clothes directed to children.
Nowadays, Brandili works with its own brands and also licensed brands. The company counts on a wide and modern plant with 18.000sm and by end of this year this will increase to 25.000sm. Brandili also counts on a team of 1,500 people. The sales reach 300 tones per month, which means about 14 millions of pieces per year. All its production is directed to children, reaching all the country.
